“Seeing the humpback whales migrating south with their calves is a wonderful sight. It gives me hope to see them continuing to thrive after the devastation of the whaling industry.
The softness of the green and aqua on the whales feels peaceful against the surrounding choppy blue depths of the Indian Ocean. I like to use silver to represent the whales, they are almost like jewels in the water.”
