"Lonely and Curious" Original Silk Painting

from $900.00

Please click on image for a better look…..

Original painting, Silk dyes on pure silk, size 40 x 60 cm

The silk painting has been gallery wrapped on a canvas frame and is ready to hang. It can be framed in a soft white float frame (Please see photos. These are of a different painting to provide an idea of how it will look with a frame) for an additional cost of $350.

Please contact me if you would like more photos or details.

Part of the “Whale Song” series, Lonely and Curious, is a celebration of the connection between humans and whales.

Humpback Whales do not echolocate but instead make low-frequency sounds that travel enormous distances in water, known as whale song. Whale song is said to be one of the largest communication networks of any animal, except humans.

Unlike toothed whales, the baleens - like blue whales, fin whales, gray whales, right whales and of course, the majestic humpbacks - have vocal chords and we still don’t know why they sing….maybe they are just happy.

FREE SHIPPING on originals. Only available for shipping within Australia.
