“I was blown away when I first heard that a group of whale sharks is known as a “constellation”, I could not think of a more fitting word to describe a collecting of these amazing sharks.
For this artwork I looked more closely at the night sky and noticed how the stars are all grouped together in small clusters of various sizes. I have very loosely replicated how they are grouped and have even included a representation of the southern cross.”
